If you haven’t already seen from our many posts, we have contributed to the National Geographic’s latest book called “Ultimate Journeys for Two:Extraordinary Destinations on Every Continent”! Thanks to the incredible travel blogging couple, Anne and Mike Howard from HoneyTrek.com who authored the book, and invited us to be one of the ‘power couples’ from around the globe to contribute to a section.

You’ve guessed we have of course contributed to the Beaches and Islands section; a no-brainer given that we’re are mostly found in or near the ocean, on an island ( if we can help it), stand-up paddle boarding, surfing, snorkeling or diving. Any guesses which island we wrote about? Tioman Island in Malaysia.

We can truly say that the more we read and talk about this book, the more excited we get about it’s potential to not only inspire couples around the world to get out, explore more, but add a touch of romance and adventure whilst they are out there. We love that the book covers various landscapes of mountains, rivers, beaches, islands and more, gives travel advice for couples ( as travel can be super stressful) and various intensity levels so you decide whether its for you or not.
