We were headed from Hogsback to Kenton-On-Sea in our little car and encountered this herd of cows taking up the whole road, the whole episode lasted about eight incredible minutes and watching the herders get them and the strays safely across was a privilege.
Earlier during our #SAroadtrip we gave a lift to a man from Bulungula to Umtata and he kept on telling us that these livestock encounters are so common in the Eastern Cape that they simply refer to them as an Eastern Cape Road Block.
Yeah, true story that!! We also encountered a similar “road block” on our fishing trip traveling through Transkei en route to Hogsback. Took some pics, you might recognise one or two spots…we placed them on http://www.eyespy.biz/listings/transkei
