South Africa’s first National Instameet (& a sweet car rental special)

This September, during the Heritage Day Long Weekend (24th to 27th,) South Africa is getting its first National Instameet where Igers from all around the country will journey to a common location and meet up in the beautiful Klein Karoo: the lovely town of Graaff-Reinet!

Hosted by @southafrica and South African Tourism, the inaugural event has already secured over 400 Instagrammers from all around SA. And as keen Instagrammers ourselves we’re amped to be able to attend too! The event is open to E V E R Y O N E so if you’re interested please don’t hesitate to get on board – we can already feel that this is going to be the start of something very special.

There’s an epic program lined up and we’ll be enjoying photo-walks, bonfires, sunset / sunrise escapades as well as the best the Karoo has to offer – such as some of our finest national parks, culinary delights and all round awesomeness.

We are road tripping up from Cape Town with a rental car from Around about Cars and will be meandering up slowly, taking in some of South Africa’s spectacular inland beauty along the way.
