It’s hard to know where to go next! To help our readers decide, we have put together a list of all our favourite cities in the world. Read on to find out what they are!
Barcelona
Barcelona is the cosmopolitan capital of the Catalonia region in Spain. This populous city is home to more than 1.62 million people and sits along the north-western coastline. Though Madrid is Spain’s capital, Barcelona is notable in its own right – mainly because of its characteristic architecture and artsy culture. The most prominent landmarks in this metropolis are Antoni Gaudí designs, one of the greatest architects ever born. Gaudí’s buildings combine fairy-tale whimsy with gothic elegance to create spectacles of kaleidoscopic colour and sprawling grandeur. These pieces of architectural artwork are woven into Barcelona’s street map. We especially recommend visiting Sagrada Família, Casa Milà, and Casa Batlló on your travels.
Las Vegas
Ah, Vegas. The City of Sin. A metropolis of finery and debauchery, radiant with neon lights and crackling electricity. How could we not include Las Vegas on our list? Las Vegas is the perfect location for anybody hoping to let loose with a couple of their best friends. Most tourists decide to relish in the glitz and glamour, staying at one of the famous hotel resorts dotted across the city. For those who like a little more risk, world-class casinos are abundant. In these gambling houses, you can play all sorts of fantastic games, similar to the ones that you might find on mansioncasino.com/nz . Of course, tourists should remember to exercise caution before placing any bets. Enjoy exploring the Vegas strip, immerse yourself in the glittering nightlife, and maybe even sky jump from the Stratosphere tower!
Singapore
Singapore isn’t strictly a city. It’s a country in its own right. Nonetheless, this sovereign state had to make an appearance on our list. There is no denying the absolute magnificence of Singapore, a futuristic metropolis circled by deep turquoise waters. The architecture is a strange blend of technology and nature, most notably in the Flower Dome, the Gardens by the Bay, and the ArtScience Museum. The latter looks like a flower unfurling mid-bloom. The inside of the ArtScience Museum is just as extraordinary as the outside. Lose yourself within the iridescent light displays, glowing in dark rooms as if bioluminescent jellyfish in the black trenches of the ocean. And let’s not forget about Marina Bay Sands. Marina Bay Sands is one of the most expensive buildings globally, topped off with a ‘stranded surfboard’ platform that overlooks all the streets in Singapore.
