Since living in Thailand, I’m amazed at how colour is such an intergral part of Thai culture. Astrology and Hindu mythology have influenced the assigning of a colour for each day of the week. Often people dress according to which day it is. Red is Sunday’s colour and here are I gather some of my favourite images with splashes of red…
Thai ladyboys and women performing at the Choengmon Floating Market.
Assorted fruits at Mae Nam’s Walking Street.
The boat and its skippers taking us to Angthong National Park.
The night lights of Bangkok’s China Town.
A family at Wat (temple) Plai Laem.
Dyed water being hurled at Thailand’s New Years festival of Songkran.
Red and fushcia bougainvillea freshly wet from the Koh Phangan rain.
Our trusty scooter that got us up multiple steep hills such as these.
Colourful ribbons on a longtail boat in Taling Ngam.
An old door in Old Phuket town.
Kayaks on a beach in Angthong National Park.
Red couch at Four Monkeys coffee shop in Bang Por.

I saw quite a few fruit and veggies that I don’t recognise at all. All very colourful.
