Walking into the Radisson Blu Hotel and Residence in Cape Town is a deceptive experience. The brown face-brick exterior fades away and you are met with an elegant and unbelievably beautiful interior. The decor is absolutely stunning and carries a simple yet exquisite theme all the through from the entrance to it’s rooms, restaurants, poolside bar and even the gym.
And the surprises didn't stop there. Before experiencing it for myself, I genuinely thought that this was going to be another boring business hotel, but everything, from the quality of the food to the service, was actually more like business class! It was sublime.
The Radisson Blu Hotel & Residence has managed to turn a businessy hotel into something that transcends your expectations. I’d easily recommend that any visitor to Cape Town stays here. I’d even go so far to say that this actually makes a perfect little weekend escape for any local looking for a stay-cation.
I decided to take all the below photographs on my phone, since that is choice of camera for most people. So have a look and see for yourself whether the Radisson is worth a visit. Personally, I wouldn’t think twice about heading back a second time.
