For anyone who’s been holiday longer than a weekend away, specifically backpackers and serial nomads can testify that there is an aspect of traveling that is less than glamorous. Sample when you are stuck in a bus in a foreign land with foreign smells he can be really uncomfortable, even exhausting.
Which is why we encourage anyone heading to the destination to check out blogs or articles on what to pack in terms of clothing for the destination. There’s nothing worse than being over dressed in humid climates or underdressed in the tundra!
Luckily in South Africa we have superbalist.com and if you find yourself under-equipped in the humidity of Durban or the heat of Cape Town, it’s pretty easy to remedy with their same day delivery.
This Summer Superbalist is releasing Men’s Tshirts and that easy to wear, very comfortable and affordable too.
Find yourself traveling this December to Durban or even Thailand and other tropical climates, then you know that men’s vests are as essential as hydration.
They have a range of vests for men as well as mens shirts from brands like Levi’s, Nike and Billabong ( go ahead and shop now) if you know that you will know that we don’t really care about brands but we do care about comfort and affordability and how much space clothing takes up in your luggage. Can it be rolled or squashed? Will still look good? Does it need to be ironed? These are the questions we ask ourselves as travelers before we head out.
True travel is about being practical vs being glamorous if you want experience life in any destination encourage you to leave the hotel and talk to people on the street, choose street food over expensive restaurants and experience culture. Make an effort to learn just a few words of the local language as well really help you in creating relationships with the people that are important to you. Travel is about experiences over things. But there’s no reason to feel uncomfortable by choosing shitty clothes I’m not spending 5 minutes on researching.
