Whilst I am a firm lover of camping, not everyone is. There are those who wish to enjoy the great outdoors with a comfortable ( or even luxurious) indoor space along with all the amenities and comforts one can find at home.
This weekend I think I'll find a happy medium with glampinghub.com where I will head to the Tri-Active Lodge in the Elgin Valley of South Africa’s Western Cape where permanent safari tents on wooden decks.

My Safari Tent Resort Stay
The safari tents can sleep two guests with its two single beds and guests have their own en-suite bathroom that features a shower, hand basin, and a toilet. There is hot water and electricity in the safari tent rental as well as free tea and coffee. There is a small wooden deck verandah where guests can take in the sun and listen to the sounds of nature and the resort’s swimming pool is located just a few steps away. Guests are treated to a variety of facilities on the property with the resort catering for groups of friends and families as well as corporate events and team building excursions.
The accommodation feature elevated timber decks an on-site restaurant and pub where an executive chef provides top-class food for all guests. Corporate events and team building groups have access to the conference room while the swimming pool is a great place for everyone to chill out in the sun and cool off in the water.
