So Vaughan and I got the chance to partner with Mercedes-Benz on their MyGuide project which captured some of the best drives around the world. It’s really no surprise that Cape Town has one of them and for two days we journeyed in the luxurious Mercedes-Benz C180 from the inner city, along Chapman’s Peak ( An Avis Best Road ) all the way into Noordhoek.
Cape Town Hot Spots.
Stopping at restaurants and interest points such as Lola’s in Long Street, Bay Harbour Market in Hout Bay, Dunes Restaurant on Hout Bay Beach and Monkey Valley Resort in Noordhoek, we gave travellers a few more reasons to visit our city.
Falling in love with our city…
Barring our ‘Top-Gear’ moments of driving this beauty along our well-loved road wedged between the mountain and seaside, the best part was falling in our love with our city again after living in Asia for the last three years. Watching this video now really reminds me why I love Cape Town so much and why it really is one of the world’s most spectacular cities.
