California is known as the Golden State. Many think the state got this nickname because the sun always shines there. Several days out of the year, the sun beams down on California giving the impression of “perfect” weather nearly year-round. Some may even name the state Sunny California. But, the Golden State came from the first discovery of gold which was in 1848 as well as the fields of golden poppies that can be seen in every Spring season.
Also, Southern California is always the talk amongst individuals because of its star city Los Angeles. This area in the state is known for it’s Hollywood stars and beach life. Many individuals want to visit or even live in Southern California because of everyday action.
